Dragster has had six previous care takers. I have owned nd restored this car since 1991. The
Rail was officially retired from racing in October 2007. The Digger held the AHRA C/Gas Dragster
ET and MPH record for 3 months i 1968 at Kansas City, Mo. Car also ran at California "Smokers"
meet in 1968. Over the years the rail has had numerous SBC engines, along with a 364 cu. in.
Nailhead Buick and a 354 Chrysler Hemi. Both of these engine were Blown on Nitro. The best
ET for the "Rattler" was 8.23 @ 185.56 in 1970. Its last pass was made in 1991that netted an ET of
9.01 @ 151.23 MPH in the 1/4 mile.
Car will now be totally restored again and shown at car shows and Cruise Nights.
